Is anyone else ready to start working on a Spring Video Collab?

Anyone who sends me footage is going in! I don't care if you can only use one poi! We will not leave a man (or woman) behind!

On the whole, what type of poi to use, I think different sorts isn't a problem, you should do the type you love the best. I know a couple people who don't like fire poi and others that refuse to spin something that isn't lit...but they should both get their work in the vid.

Okay, enough from me, the end.

Hah, my favorite, that's hard Other than lit poi, for unlit poi I'd say my favorite is my newly made practice wicks, or my flags.

But maybe it would be cool if it is possible to see people spinning - not just seeing a flame flying through the air.

Maybe you could notice that it would be that great to get a record of a real video camera (maybe even Full-HD?) with maybe the best quality - not something like a webcam where you can see only 2 pixel and this is a head.

If it sits on top of your head and is silly, then it counts. If you can get a live ferret to sit still on top of your head while you spin, that counts. Or if you have an ironic trucker hat that says "I drink Budweiser while I'm doing your mom".... anyway, the list goes on. A mask that has a hat-like component also counts, I think.

it doesn't need to be as absurd as my examples, but I think a top hat is as normal as it should get. I myself am trying to decide between a jester hat thing some raver gave me and a pac-man ghost beanie. I suppose decorating a normal hat in a silly way could work.

(And remember a burning head can kill you dead pretty fast, so plan for safety with your hat if you're going to be playing with fire. Just thought I'd add this so I don't have my theme contributing to any fatalities :P)

Does a helmet count as a silly hat? What if I paint it to look silly?

Hair does not count. Converting hats into silly poi does count. Helmets count only A) if they are incongruous with the rest of your attire, or B) if they match a sufficiently silly outfit.

i think spinning silly hats while wearing a completly normal hat would count... but maybe thats just me.
