What
is PAL and NTSC? which one do I order?
The video tape we use is the
VHS type. It comes in three colours system formats PAL, NTSC and SECAM.
PAL has only 25 frames/sec and high definition frames. NTSC has 30 frames/sec
but slightly less definition on each frame.
PAL is mostly used in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
NTSC is used by USA, CANADA, Fiji, Hawaii, Mexico and Japan

Can
I pick my own colours?
When you view details of your
product there is a drop down menu that enables you to select different
colours (if available) the image will also change if multiple colour images
are available for the item.
Selecting "Any or Mixed" as a colour you can let us know what colours you require in the comments

How do I measure the length of my chain poi set?
As a general guide hold your arm out in front of you and measure from where your thumb joins your hand to your chest.
This is the measurement we suggest you use. This total length will include the length of the head of the poi the cords and the handles. We also use S = short, M = medium, L = long to help in selecting length.
However there is no reason why you can not have it shorter. If you have it longer it will restrict some internal moves when swinging in front of your chest.
Shorter poi are really good for high speed spinning and longer poi is great for making slower large flame circles.

What is the difference
between double loop and single loop handles?
This describes how many loops, for putting your fingers through, are on each handle
Most common is the double loop
Both types give the same control of the poi
We recommend double loop handles, as poi becomes more secure around two fingers and less likely to come off hands
Practice poi sets with nylon cords can be adjusted.
Fire poi with Stainless steel cords are non-adjustable, however you
can purchase new cords
Fire poi with chain can be adjusted shorter. However you can not re
-lengthen them or make them longer without special links and connectors.
Chain is available separately or you can purchase new cords.
Are
any of your products suitable for children?
The Practice poi sets are suitable
for children aged from 5 years, however the minimum skill level required
is from children who are generally 8 years old.
Our minimum age for using a
fire product is 18 years. Please be assured that the fumes and fuels are

What
is the difference between wire and ball chain cords?
The basic differences are
Strength. Wire cords are much stronger than ball chain
Kinking. Ball chain cords are kink less whereas wires can kink and
get bends in the cord.
Life: Wire cords will outlast ball chain as there is less moving parts.
Swivel. Wire cords do not swivel as well as ball chain.
Adjusting length. Wire cords are permanently crimped together and
as such can not be adjusted. Ball chain can be shortened and lengthened
with special connectors
What
colours glow under UV (black) light?
The following colours are UV
active (ie. will glow under UV light):- White,Pink,Yellow and Orange.
This applies to all product; Beginner, Ultimate performance and the Beaming
Poi.
These colours will not glow under UV light:- Red,Purple,Green
and Blue.
Note : You require
an Ultra violet light source (UV lamp) in order for these
colours to glow.
What
if I get the length of my poi wrong?
No problem
.
You can either send them back
for an exchange, or you can just order a new set of cords.
